The Graphic Designer works in the Creative Department and in collaboration with the Account Services and Project Management teams to ensure creative development and execution exceed established objectives. The Graphic Designer is responsible for creative development and ownership of projects, as well as partnering with the strategy team, copywriters, other designers and freelancers. The ideal candidate will have strong graphic design skills and a technical understanding of current interactive/web technologies and emerging design trends.


  • Owning the visual design process and providing thoughtful creative guidance and oversight 
  • Work closely with Account Services and Creative teams to understand clients’ products, services and marketing objectives
  • Collaborate with the Account Services team and assist with the creative design elements needed to support marketing objectives  
  • Create smart, conceptual and brand-aware marketing communications that lead to sustainable behavior change
  • Possess strong creative team and relationship-building skills
  • Push creative limits inside of established brand guidelines
  • Help scope and estimate creative phases of projects accurately and efficiently
  • Develop and execute a variety of presentations that are compelling and utilize the latest techniques and technologies
  • Develop and execute a variety of graphic design elements and campaigns
  • Coordinate production and prepress for a variety of media (print, broadcast and Internet) and disciplines (presentations, advertising, direct mail, outdoor, catalog, web, email, sales collateral, etc.)

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proven proficiency in creative software such as Sketch, InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator—experience in Dreamweaver, HTML, CSS a plus
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint 
  • Proficiency in Google Suite a plus
  • Must have a solid understanding of user experience and interactive design, as well as digital printing processes
  • Excellent time and project management skills
  • Ability to be effective in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Education and Experience:

  • 2-4 years of design experience in an advertising agency, in-house corporate marketing or publishing environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field
  • Experience producing work within regulated environments such as the healthcare industry or financial services is preferred
  • Agency experience preferred
  • An impressive creative portfolio showcasing innovative design thinking, ideally shown across various devices and channels (laptop, tablet, mobile, social media)
  • Proven understanding of design principles (typography, layout, color and grid structures)
