Overview

The Senior Account Director leads our clients in their quest for smart, strategic marketing and acts as the business liaison between the client and RAZR staff by communicating client needs clearly to the project team.  They ensure outstanding client service by anticipating opportunities, issues and problems, and by proactively responding. This person has experience in navigating key decision makers as it pertains to brand development, content strategy, and digital marketing initiatives. They will have Immediate support to General Manager that drives growth for the business unit by exploring and identifying additional client opportunities, working with account managers, and being a leader for marketing strategy.

Responsibilities

Account Management

● Acts as primary point person for all client contact on a high profile, Fortune 100 brand account.
● Develops account plans to protect and grow revenue and customer loyalty.
● Communicates progress, plans and problems to team and client services leader, requesting
involvement as appropriate.
● Mitigates risks related to client conflict and profit loss.
● Provides strategic thinking and a broad business perspective to the client in order to develop and
implement effective marketing campaigns.
● Supports other account managers in building marketing strategies to meet client objectives.
● Conscientiously manages both the client’s expectations and the team’s ability to meet those
expectations.
● Leads day-to-day direction of client projects
● Plans, strategize and execute as needed for assigned projects
● Ensures that all aspects of agency work are of superior quality and are conducted in accordance with
agency procedures

Pre-Sale

● Accurately represents RAZR’s broad range of capabilities to the client to completely service their
needs.
● Develops account plans to protect and grow revenue and customer loyalty.
● Supports sales by participating in new business development.
● Initiates, prepares and reviews project proposals for clients

Financial

● Communicates changes to financial forecast to client services team for projects that are being
executed; provide senior management with financial forecasting for presale projects
● Works with Project Managers to ensure the project schedule is met and budget is on track to manage
any concerns in a proactive manner and support Accounting with client invoicing.

content strategy and delivery

● Ability to forecast and manage project financials

Qualifications

● 4-year degree in business, marketing or related discipline
● 5+ years of agency experience or internal client-side healthcare/medical device
● 8+ years of client relationship management experience
● People management preferred
● Proficient in Google and MS Office suites
